Childhood visits to Galveston influenced Amanda Ross to return and study at Texas A & M, Galveston. It was during her A & M years that she first started working in the vacation rentals department at Sand 'N Sea Properties. Amanda decided that real estate was in her blood, and before she graduated with her degree in Maritime Studies, she had earned her real estate license. Further, by the time she had her license in hand, Amanda already had plenty of first-hand real estate experience due to her part-time job assisting veteran West End Realtor® Sallie Waters.
After Hurricane Ike, Amanda spent time helping Galvestonians acquire federal assistance funds for home repairs, honing her skills and knowledge about the Galveston housing market, home renovation and coastal building codes.
She is an avid animal lover and has volunteered for the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network in Galveston. When she's not busy with real estate transactions, Amanda enjoys playing at the beach with her son, riding her bike on the seawall, visiting with friends, and fishing.
Amanda's number one priority is providing great customer service and creating seamless, stress-free real estate transactions for all of her clients.
Amanda is a member of Galveston Association of Realtors ® (GAR); Texas Association of Realtors (TAR); and National Association of Realtors® (NAR).
