Childhood visits to Galveston influenced Amanda Ross to return as a young adult to study at Texas A & M, Galveston. It was during her A & M years that she first started working in the vacation rentals department at Sand 'N Sea Properties. Well before graduation, Amanda decided that real estate was in her blood, and before she graduated with a degree in Maritime Studies, Amanda had earned her real estate license. Further, by the time she had her license in hand, Amanda already had plenty of first-hand real estate experience due to her part-time job assisting veteran West End Realtor Sallie Waters.

Amanda is a member of Galveston Association of Realtors (GAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR.) She is currently working towards her e-Pro designation and her Resort and Second Home Market designation, and she also plans to earn her brokers license.

Amanda is an avid animal lover and has volunteered for the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network in Galveston. She also contributes her free time to the children's charity, Elves and More.

When she's not busy with real estate transactions, Amanda enjoys walking on the beach with her two dog, Andy, riding her bike on the seawall, visiting with friends, fishing and watching Galveston Island sunsets.
