Sallie has been a real estate professional for 40 years and has consistently been one of the top agents on Galveston Island. Before coming to Texas, she was a broker in Wilton, Connecticut, and after moving to Houston, she founded and was co-owner of House Hunters, Inc., now Heritage Texas Properties.
Her philosophy in real estate is to include wit with wisdom. With both buyers and sellers, she strives to make each transaction as pleasurable and professional as possible. Finding the perfect property for her buyers and finding the perfect buyer for her sellers is her greatest satisfaction as well as making wonderful new friendships along the way. Sallie bases her business on personal referrals which allows her to devote 110% of her time to her clients. She also has the assistance of Amanda Ross, Realtor, and working partner. Clients know that they will always be able to count on an experienced agent to assist them and answer their questions.
Professionalism and experience are the keys to Sallie’s success. She holds three professional designations: Graduate of the Realtors Institute, Certified Residential Specialist, and Certified Residential Broker/Manager as well as being a licensed Broker. Her professional associations include: Galveston Association of Realtors (member of the Board of Directors in 2000, 2001 and 2002); past Secretary-Treasurer of the Galveston Association of Realtors (2002, 2003); member of the Multiple Listing Committee (Vice Chairman 2003, 2004); Texas Association of Realtors; National Association of Realtors; and past member of the Employee Relocation Council.
