Evia Galveston

Evia is a planned development established in 2006 adjacent to the recently reconstructed 18-hole Moody Gardens Golf Course. Evia’s vintage architectural styles include cottages, bungalows, single-family homes and townhomes built with environmentally responsible, energy-efficient, modern amenities reflecting “Old South” real estate in Galveston. Unlike many newly built beach and bay houses for sale in Galveston, Evia was constructed on elevated lots behind the Galveston Seawall. Moody Gardens is nearby, as are groceries, shopping and schools. Popular features include three freshwater lakes, a nature preserve, a children’s playground and a community pool with a cabana. Homes have large front porches to encourage neighborly interaction, and garages are inconspicuous. The popular Sugar Bean Coffee Shop anchors the pedestrian-friendly Evia Village Center. Vacation rentals are not allowed.

People shopping for houses for sale in Galveston will find Evia prices range from the $300,000s to $800,000s and homesites starting at $60,000s.
