The Total Rate includes all applicable taxes, standard fees and a non-refundable $50 Reservation Fee. Linens and towels are also included, and standard beds are made for your arrival. Travel insurance is optional, and the pet fee is added during the reservation process.

Excellent property! I will warn you that it is 11 miles from the seawall, which means restaurants and activities will be a long drive away. However, that long drive gives a great perk of the house being in a nice, quiet area. It's a very short walk across the main road to the beach, but little traffic makes it easy to cross. It's a wonderful house, with great views. We had 11 people staying in the house, and had more than enough space to spread out. The pool is nice, although we didn't ever swim in it. Sand and Sea was very easy and friendly to work with!

We rented Castaway Casa as a spring break vacation for three families, and it was wonderful. The house is spacious and can sleep 12 comfortably. The hot tub and Foosball table were a big hit with the kids. Also, the WiFi was very convenient, as we had several tablets in the house for the kids and a laptop for one of the adults. As the website describes, the house is actually across the road from the beach. Walking to the beach with small children was not preferred, so we drove across the way to the neighboring beach. This end of the island was very clean and not as crowded as the East side. It is a bit of a haul to downtown Galveston, but it was still close enough for us to go to Moody Gardens and do some grocery shopping at the big stores. Overall, this was a delightful house for our large family vacation.

Great overall stay. If your planning on making cookies bring a cookie sheet...there wasn't one. There dishes are nice and durable. Beware the front door is very hard to unlock. I thought we we were at the wrong house @ 1st because we couldn't get the door opened!

Had a great stay and very helpful staff on christmas about 5pm the power went out and the on call lady was very friendly and help us get rooms for the night!!! I will be staying at more properties from sand n sea and will be telling my family and friends about you all!!! Thanks Again Amanda
