This is one of a group of Galveston houses that work together. They are located close to one another and are ideal for groups or reunions.

Avalon's owners have brought a new look to this pet-friendly house! They decided to make Ike an opportunity to make Avalon a better place than ever for you, your family and your friends to spend a week at the Beach! The house has all new carpet, new and pleasing wall colors, a new air conditioning unit to keep you cool on those hot beach days and a new enclosed outside shower. The exterior of the house has a new coat of paint and also, there is a new sitting area on the ground level for relaxing and for family barbeques – complete with an incredible beach mural created by one of Avalon's owners. The views from Avalon to the Gulf are greatly improved post-Ike. The open floor plan, vaulted ceiling and pitched windows also contribute to this beach house’s bright and airy feeling. Each of the three bedrooms has a TV/DVD combination with Direct TV Satellite Receiver. For the kids, there's a Playstation 2 in their bedroom. The dining table seats 10, and there are an additional four seats at the kitchen island: plenty of room for everyone! Anyone who loves electronics will love staying here: There's a 57" high definition TV, high definition Direct TV Satellite Receiver, high definition antenna with Progressive Scan DVD, Yamaha A/V Surround Sound Receiver, XM Satellite Radio, 4 Cambridge Soundworks satellite speakers, center channel and powered subwoofer and that's just in the living area! A deck circles the house on three sides providing plenty of outside space for everyone - plus there's comfortable deck furniture. And remember, you're only one block from the beach!
