Sand `N Sea has an HGTV star in the making!
Watch Sand `N Sea REALTOR®, Barbara Zimmerman find the perfect Island property for her clients, Celeste and Dustin, on HGTV’s Beachfront Bargain Hunt.
HGTV was on location filming in Galveston in April and May. Barbara’s clients live in Beaumont and both work in other cities. They wanted an island home where they could “meet halfway” and “honeymoon” together as often as possible. They fell in love with Galveston’s West End charm and Barbara helped them find the perfect island getaway.

I am the Maintenance Manager – so I coordinate regular maintenance visits to each of our vacation homes as well as making sure we get someone out quickly to address any issues that come up during guest stays. I enjoy working with all of our local vendors. I have worked with Sand `N Sea for 10 years.

Way back in 2005 all of our brainstorming finally hit upon a way to show our appreciation in the form of a frequent renter reward program. We wanted to make it simple for guests to earn free stays at our vacation homes, and we finally hit upon a system that would allow us to track rental history and home preferences. It’s Festival Season on Galveston!
It’s Fall!! Don’t get us wrong – we love summers on the island. However, if pressed, we might admit to loving October/November even more (shhhhh!). There’s something about a steady forecast of 80 – 90 degrees with a cool breeze, endless blue skies, and the less-busy beaches that really speaks to us. Plus, it seems like there’s a festival (and festival food!) almost every weekend!
