The Total Rate includes all applicable taxes, standard fees, travel insurance, pet fee (if property is pet-friendly) and a non-refundable $50 Reservation Fee. Linens and towels are also included, and standard beds are made for your arrival. The travel insurance and pet fee (if not traveling with your pup) are optional and can be removed during the reservation process.

"Great view of the bay. I loved waking up and looking at the water from the kitchen and living room. The best part was fishing from the dock in the evening. The sunsets were amazing and the fishing dock was very spacious. We just wished that all of the fishing dock lights worked. "

Not well equipped

"The view is wonderful. Galveston Bay is the main feature out of the windows, doors and decks to the rear of the house. The house is large and has plenty of room for a family or two. The master bath and main floor bath have both been updated and were very clean and pretty. The whole house was clean and neat but there was a continual musty smell - from the carpet, I think, which is throughout the house. When we arrived the downstairs air conditioner wasn’t working. Sand N Sea sent someone out immediately and the problem was fixed and the a/c worked beautifully for our entire stay. There wasn’t a trash can and some of the other basics in the kitchen, like a frying pan or a cookie sheet. We ended up buying those few items at Dollar General and left them for future renters. The stand alone ice maker doesn’t work and there isn’t an ice maker or freezer in the refrigerator. There’s were a few ice trays in the pantry and a freezer in the utility room. There wasn’t an available closet in the master bedroom and only a couple of small shelves in an antique desk to put your clothes in. The master bedroom closet is locked for the owners use. The deck was large and provided both areas of shade and sun but many boards were warped and nails were sticking up. We tripped more than once on loose boards. Many of the chairs and cushions that were provided were moldy and rusty. It looked like they were kept outside all the time. It’s a very humid environment but in homes we have previously rented these things were kept in a closet that the renter was allowed to access. Access to a storage closet would give the renter the opportunity pull things out as needed and to put things up if the weather gets rough...which it did. Sand N Sea responded quickly to all of our concerns and we will rent properties they manage again...just not this particular one. "
