Description

The Vintage of Galveston is a spot to remember! Eclectic décor, homey furnishings and a great beachside location ensure this dog friendly home will be your new family favorite. 11 loved ones & up to 2 pups are sure to enjoy the large deck and short walk to the beach!

Inside, colorful accents and comfy furnishings encourage you to adapt to the slower pace of island life. The vintage arcade game, fun for all ages, is perfect for a little friendly competition while abundant seating in the living area encourages movie nights or evenings full of your favorite family stories. The fully-equipped kitchen is just around the corner, full of all of the pots, pans, dishes & utensils you need for home cooked meals. The laundry closet with a stackable washer & dryer is also conveniently tucked away there.

After an evening of fun, you’ll be ready to hit the hay. The main level primary king suite has an en suite bathroom with double vanities and walk-in shower. Head up the stairs and you’ll find 2 more bedrooms with a shared full bath - one bunk room and one with a king bed and twin daybed with rollout trundle..

The large deck is sure to be a favorite of pups and people alike. Enjoy peaceful views of the dunes and Gulf while soaking in the Galveston sun. For a shaded paradise, the ground level patio is great for dining al fresco thanks to the charcoal grill. Everyone will love the short neighborhood walk to the beach!

In-town attractions are an easy, short drive away – The Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Historic Downtown Galveston, the Tall Ship Elissa at Pier 23, and many others.

PROPERTY CARE & HOUSEKEEPING
All Sand `N Sea Properties are non-smoking.

Our Housekeeping and Inspecting teams take care of preparing each home before every guest. They follow current CDC and Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals (VRHP) guidelines.

Sheets & bath towels are included with every reservation. Standard beds will already be made, ready for your arrival. Bunk beds and sleeper sofas will have a freshly laundered linen bundle available for your use.

We want to help get your trip off to an easy start, so all homes include a set of starter supplies: a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, dishwashing soap, and shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap for the bathrooms.

GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY
Sand 'N Sea Properties is committed to good neighbor policies that provide the best experience possible for our vacation rental guests and our island neighbors. We share neighborhood HOA policies & city ordinance information with each of our guests via our rental policies, text & email reminders, and our Guest Portal.

We welcome family groups and responsible adult guests where leaseholders are a minimum of 25 years of age. Parties, reunions, proms and other gatherings are not allowed at any Sand `N Sea vacation homes.

Highly recommended!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our spring break stay at The Vintage! The layout was perfect and the deck had a great view of the surf. The kitchen was well-appointed and had plenty of utensils and cookware. The beach is just a short walk away via one of two convenient boardwalks. Sand `N Sea customer service was excellent and quickly answered any questions we had. When we could not locate the charcoal grill that was listed in the amenities, they delivered one for us to use the same day!

Great house! I would suggest that renters be informed that in order to use the outdoor hose both hot and cold faucets in the shower need to be turned on. we appreciate your quick response when we called about this and someone came out within the hour and did figure it out but just having a note at the house would be so much easier. On the positive side, the porch furniture was the best ever. We loved the fireplace since it got really cold our last day. The living room and dining area are beautiful and comfortable. It’s especially nice to have two very nice bedrooms with king sized comfortable beds. We often rent with another couple and so often there’s one “master” bedroom that’s got all the amenities and then a room with bunk beds for kiddos and then a third bedroom that is much less nice than the master—smaller bed or twin beds, little room for clothes, bathroom down the hall, afterthought decor etc. So one couple has a decidedly less desirable room. This was not the case at The Vintage of Galveston and we really appreciated that. Also enjoyed the Christmas lights and decorations! PS. We picked up the lovely Christmas tree skirt and hung it up so it didn’t get stepped on by humans or made into a bed by pets.Easy and reliable booking, good service and nice, well-kept properties. I also appreciate not having to do a lot of cleaning before leaving, although we try to leave the house as we found it except for linens.

Perfect Location

Enjoyed a long weekend with family and this beach house was perfect. Plenty of room to spread out and walking distance to the beach. The house is well kept and we will definitely be back.

Great View!

Loved the view!! Could sit on the porch/deck swing all day and be happy! The house was wonderful—had everything we needed and more. Lots of room to spread out, even with a large group. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Highly recommend.

Perfect Getaway!

Amazing views in comfortable setting yards from the beach, what more could you ask for in a place? We enjoyed starting the day by sitting on the deck, drinking coffee, watching the sun come up over the water, and taking a long walk on the beach. Our stay at The Vintage was so peaceful and relaxing, we can't wait to go back!

My family and I stayed over the labor day weekend. The home is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of room for everyone with views to die for. This was my first visit to Galveston and when we go back, we will definitely be staying here. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing time.

Great Location

We had a great time celebrating my son’s 3rd bday. This place had a great layout, amazing view and safety we were looking for. Kids had plenty of space to roam around. It never felt crowded. As far as location we thought the house was in a great neighborhood and the beach access felt private in the midst of July. We loved the character and a charm of The Vintage . Definitely will be back.

Gorgeous, practically oceanfront home

My family and I stayed at The Vintage over Memorial Day weekend, and we were so impressed with our experience. The Vintage is positioned such that you have an unobstructed view of the beach & ocean, and the walkovers are directly in front of the home. I'm not sure why it isn't listed as oceanfront, because it seemed oceanfront to us - such a perfect location. It was a super quick trip to send one off my children from the beach back to the house for a bathroom break, or for me to get additional snacks & drinks. I want to know who they used to decorate this home, and then hire them for my own - it is so comfortable and beautifully done. The space & details are well thought out, and they have included artwork depicting Galveston's most well known attractions - an homage to the city's History. I loved that each bedroom had a dedicated theme specific to Galveston. The living room is wide open, with a view of the ocean. One bedroom is downstairs (King), with two more bedrooms upstairs. In the past and at other rentals, the AC can be a challenge in the Summer months. I was so happy that this home's AC works well. It's a small, but important detail to me for any vacation, especially with children. The dining table seats 8, and we took advantage of the opportunity to seat everyone together. Mario's Pizza, the grocery, liquor store, and a seafood market were all a short drive away. We're looking forward to re-booking The Vintage again, and can't wait to make it an annual tradition.

Great Family House!

My family rented this wonderful beach house for the week. It is beautifully decorated and spacious. Everyone had plenty of space to sprawl out. There is 3 bedrooms: downstairs king size bed with private bath entrance. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms with slide doors from each bedroom into the large 2nd bathroom: Mardi Gras room has a king size bed and a daybed that has a pull out trundle and the other room has a full size bunk beds with another pull out trundle. The deck looks out onto the Gulf and the comfortable seating made sunrise and sunsets just beautiful. There is also 2 swing benches one on the deck and on the ground floor. There is a nice large kitchen with bar seating and large dining table for family meals. The house is located in a beautiful sub-division on the West End of Galveston. The grounds around the house is beautiful manicured with Sago Palms and Palm trees. In fact the whole subdivision is just beautiful maintained. The beach was a short walk over the dunes from the house and we were always able to find a spot! It was not crowded and in the part of the beach cars are not allowed to drive on it so that was great because there was always plenty of space. Town is just a short drive around 15 minutes for shopping, the pleasure pier, The Strand, Moody Gardens, etc. It was great and this information was all found in a book that Sand N Seas had available which made it really easy to find things to do when not on the beach. Our family will definitely be back and I highly recommending this place.

Great house!
