Real Estate Agent, Galveston Island
Susan discovered Galveston during her college years when she made many trips to Galveston Island, the State Park and nearby Sea-Arama. The call of the sea and the beach had always been strong and, upon graduation, Susan made the Houston/Galveston area her home.
She embarked on a career as a Teacher, Systems Analyst and Corporate Trainer after receiving an MBA from the University of Houston. Her professional expertise is built on a foundation of solid organizational skills, technology expertise and customer service knowledge. All these skills are informed by years of training and communications positions where she applied her talents to developing customized solutions to complicated problems.
Susan is now employing that experience with her real estate work. She uses the same business acumen and analysis to understand trends and to work with clients creating solutions that are just right for each one.
Family and career led to journeys elsewhere, but Susan now makes her ‘forever’ home on the island. She is a proud “IBC” – Islander by Choice – and enjoys being minutes away from her family, including a new darling granddaughter.
When not working with clients, she’s often busy with home improvement projects for her island bungalow. Passionate about salvage, local antiques, and vintage finds, she can also often be found at island estate sales and flea markets seeking unique Galveston finds, beach decor and nautical treasures.
