Sand `N Sea manages approximately 150 vacation homes on Galveston Island; and its experienced team of rental agents, inspectors, housekeepers, laundry techs and maintenance personnel all make customer service their number one priority.
The company’s 17 REALTORS® are known throughout the region for their professional expertise, and according to 2019 Houston MLS statistics, they sold and/or participated in the sale of 12% of Galveston real estate. Also, they listed and sold over 16% of Galveston's West End real estate. Seven of the 20 top 2019 producers in Galveston are SNS REALTORS®.
Family Owned and Operated Since 1974
Sand `N Sea was founded by Bert and David Feinman in 1974. David, a highly-regarded West End developer and home builder, developed Galveston’s Sea Isle community and served as a development consultant to the Isla del Sol and Pointe San Luis subdivisions. Over a period of more than 30 years, he and Bert built almost 1,000 homes on the West End.
Bert saw a need for a vacation rentals department within a year of opening Sand `N Sea’s doors. She and her small staff started with 14 properties and used pencils, erasers and a one big calendar to manage reservations.
Anne Reiswerg, Bert’s daughter, joined the company eight years later to help with the ever-expanding vacation rentals side of the business. Since then, she and her team have taken property management to a new level. The company even owns and operates its own Housekeeping Service Center, which houses a commercial laundry and provides linens to the vacation rental properties.
Fast forward 20 years, and Claire Reiswerg, another of Bert’s daughters, joined the firm, bringing a new emphasis to technology and marketing. Today the company engages clients and guests through cutting-edge technology that manages every aspect of real estate sales operations, property management and the guest experience.
Along with their mother, Bert, Anne and Claire remain committed to Sand `N Sea’s mission to provide a great experience for their real estate clients, for their vacation rental homeowners and guests, and for their employees.
