The Grand 1894 Opera House2020 Postoffice, Galveston, TX 77550
The Grand has a very special place in the history of the Galveston community and in the lives of many of its residents. It survived the storms of 1900 and 1915, and Hurricanes Carla and Alicia. The Grand is one of the few remaining theatres of its era in Texas and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy the Galveston Symphony Orchestra, plays, musicals, and visiting musicians throughout the theatre's season.
