FeatherFest on Galveston Island, TX is a multi-day event full of workshops, birding field trips, speakers and delightful social events. Thousands of birds pass through Galveston Island each spring on their way north along the Central Flyway, and this annual festival (April 16 - 19, 2020 and April 15 - 18, 2021) celebrates them all!

From morning hikes to guided tours in air-conditioned vans, there's something for every level of birding experience at Galveston Island's FeatherFest. There's even FledglingFest, a mini-festival with activities geared towards the "new egg" crowd (ages 6 & older).
